SEO & Content Manager, c. £45k, Luxury Travel, London

We are working with a Luxury Travel brand located in London who are growing their team throughout the year.

This role would be well suited to an SEO Manager who is keen to gain or furher their experience within the Luxury Travel space, or a Senior SEO Executive who wants to step up to a Manager level role with responsibility of 2 direct reports. If you are great with people, then management experience is not deal breaker!

As SEO & Content Manager you will focus your time on strategy, managing the 3rd party agency and team management, however as the business is small, you will be required to get hands on with campaigns on an ad hoc basis.

Candidates can come from agency or client side backgrounds, however you must have been working in a well-rounded SEO focused position. A background around content strategy would also be required.

Responsibilities include;

  • Create an SEO roadmap and strategy to sustain business goals
  • Able to undertake technical, link and content audits to identify and address performance issues and optimisation opportunities
  • Undertake user-focused keyword research to highlights areas of potential growth, inform content strategy and optimisation
  • Maintain awareness of the industry and competitor's activity to develop informed strategies
  • Support and oversee internal teams to make sure SEO best practices are followed
  • Manage relation with agencies and freelancers to make sure projects are aligned with brand goals and are delivered efficiently and on time
  • Work closely with the brands internal copywriter to ensure content is well optimised and in line with the voice and style of the brand
  • Development and implementation of link-building campaigns that support the overall strategy
  • Implement outreach strategies to gain links and build brand visibility.
  • Ability to build and manage online communities and manage brand ambassador programs and blogger collaborations
  • Measure and report on content and SEO performance



Skills and Experience required:

  • Proven track record in planning & managing SEO and content campaigns through; Market, competitor and keyword analysis, On-page recommendations & technical audits, and Content distribution strategy development & execution
  • Knowledge of SEO and analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, keyword monitoring tools
  • Clear understanding of best practice SEO and search engine guidelines
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS
  • Project management skills and understanding of how to delegate effectively
  • Understanding of all digital channels and how they work together and impact the customer journey
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • A 'Can-Do' attitude
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, demonstrating passion around finding the best way to solve problems
  • Self-motivated and proactive with ability to manage complex and varied workload



The office is located a short distance to Clapham North tube station, and as SEO Manager you will be rewarded with a generous base salary, performance related bonus, and a 4pm finish on Friday's!
