Job Description

  • PM Degree or part PM Degree or Professional PM Qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner or APM Project Professional)
  • Formal Risk and Opportunity Management Qualification
  • Experience in Project/Programme Management, Project/Programme Scheduling and experience across Project/Programme Finances (£30M plus)
  • Experience in any of the following: Agile PM, ITIL, Control Account Manager (Including EVM), Stakeholder Management
  • Knowledge and exposure to Risk and Quality Management, as well as managing Projects Scopes, Project Growth and general Governance and have an eye for business within Project/Programme Management.
  • Exemplary Leadership Characteristics
  • Extensive analytical as well as verbal and written communications skills
  • Extensive collaborative interpersonal skills for written, oral and face to face communications and presentations
  • Experience in taking care of conflicting priorities between different specialist groups
  • Capture management experience and experience supporting business development
  • Other requirements
  • Travel requirements: Some national travel may be required to attend team and customer meetings. Occasional international may also occur.
  • Attend Operations department meetings
  • Support the PM Council as requested
  • Set performance goals, perform one-to-one meetings and undertake performance reviews for assigned personnel
  • Perform recruitment for personnel into the Operations department

Essential criteria:
Qualifications/Experience

  • PM Degree or part PM Degree or Professional PM Qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner or APM Project Professional)
  • Formal Risk and Opportunity Management Qualification
  • Years of relevant experience; 10 years plus experience in Project/Programme Management. 10 years plus experience in managing Project/Programme Schedule. Experience in managing Project/Programme Finances £30M plus
  • Experience in any of the following: Agile PM, ITIL, Control Account Manager (Including EVM), Stakeholder Management
  • Competency/Skill requirements
