Head of Performance Marketing (Retention Marketing focus), c. £90k, Central London, Hyper growth brand

I'm pleased to be supporting a Series C funded hyper growth brand who are located in the heart of Central London. Due to continued expansion they are looking to hire a Head of Performance Marketing. Candidates are required to have an excellent background in Retention / Email Marketing with a good understanding / knowledge of Digital Acquisition (Paid Media) channels.

Reporting into the CMO, as Head of performance Marketing you will take ownership of the Retention & Acquisition Marketing strategy and manage a team of 10 who are split between these 2 activities. This is a global role with main markets being the UK, North America, and Germany. More locations will be added throughout the year. All Digital Marketing activity is undertaken in-house.

Responsibilities include;

- Overall responsibility for the performance of the brands email & paid acquisition channels across all geographies and verticals
- Be the stakeholder and advocate for customer data, product and technology requests your teams need be world class
- Manage the paid acquisition team to achieve revenue goals at the right CPA; continuing to grow the team by identifying new channel and technology opportunities
- Manage the email (and retention) team to make sure the brand has the great teams and technology to build the most effective and efficient email business
- Evaluate and implement new performance channel opportunities such as inserts and TV.
- Tender and work with agencies/ freelancers where appropriate
- Exceed targets whilst managing the budget. Be part of creating the forecasts and budgets to reflect your strategy for growth.

- You're hands on: the brands a start-up so this role requires you to lead by example, get your hands dirty and motivate your team and others by getting involved in the day to day.
- Entrepreneurial and ambitious
- Proven experience of driving growth and performance to a budget in a fast-growing company. Hands on experience of both Email Marketing and PPC is a distinct advantage
- Proven background of managing teams and developing talent
