Job Description

Like with many high growth tech startups in London, the first few years are about developing the product and keeping the team lean. This means most employees are Tech and Product experts. As this startup is now 4 years old and growing Year on Year, they are now in an exciting position whereby tripling the team over the next 12 months and growing out the Marketing function.  

As the Head of Digital Marketing you will be initially responsible with 5 key tasks, these being;  

  • Establish and track the KPIs that drive growth in the business  
  • Identify and solidify acquisition channels  
  • Advertising campaign management  
  • Effectively manage and coordinate external agencies
  • Build a marketing team

You'll be testing, executing and measuring campaigns across (but not limited to) the below channels with the goal of acquiring new customers on a budget and at scale. Your key goal will be to test and find successful new channels then focus on acquiring as many customers as possible through them:

  • MOBILE MARKETING
  • Adwords / PPC
  • Facebook / Paid Social
  • Retargeting
  • Display
  • SEO
  • Cross promotions
  • Partnerships
  • Email Marketing / CRM

This role is designed for a Growth Marketer who has broad channel experience, having worked within a hyper-growth/tech startup, and is used to test, learn, implement the methodology. It's a very strategic and people management role, with very limited hands-on (execution of campaigns) work.
